The goal is to bring out the character that already makes the venue special, then create a natural visual shift from dinner into dancing.

At Peabody Essex Museum, we’ll plan the colors, brightness, and placement around your floor plan and your style. Uplighting can add depth and warmth to the room, while dance-floor wash lighting helps the visual energy match the music once the party starts.

These are photographs from real weddings and events. They’re here to give you ideas, but your lighting design won’t be one-size-fits-all. We’ll talk through what fits your celebration and the space.

“We had an excellent experience with TSG Weddings, and they helped make our wedding day special! We worked with Sam Lurie to help provide Dj services and uplighting for our wedding at Peabody Essex Museum. From the beginning, he was very responsive and accommodating to our preferences, even when we made some last minute changes! Sam did a great job keeping us on schedule, and in his role as an MC. His team did a phenomenal job with the lighting, and our venue looked amazing because of it. The music was excellent: Sam kept the dance floor in a state of high energy, and packed with guests at all times of the night! Our guests…”

“Dj Sam Lurie Dj'ed our wedding at PEM in Salem and did an amazing job! The entire TSG team did a great job communicating ahead of time, and on the day of made sure the entire event ran smoothly. Our dance floor was filled almost the entire night, which I see as a major success by the Dj!”

“TSG Weddings was amazing! We had Sam Lurie, who did handled DJing, sound and uplighting for our wedding at the Peabody Essex Museum. Sam was great, our officiant said he was a real professional and was able to get him set up for the ceremony right away. As for the reception, he was outstanding. All of my guests, from our parents to my friends and younger coworkers said he was the best Dj they had ever heard. He kept the dance floor going strong for the whole night and did a great job adapting to the crowd. I would definitely recommend TSG Weddings and Sam Lurie specifically for any couple looking for a Dj for…”

“Dj Sam Lurie did a great job at our wedding that took place at the Peabody Essex Museum (he also had his wedding there previously!) He was very responsive throughout the process and answered all the questions we had. The timeline he provides is very detailed and ensures nothing is missed. He also provided uplighting during the reception which gave the space a great ambiance. People were on the dance floor as soon as the music started going - would 100% recommend!”

“My husband and I got married recently at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA. After choosing our venue we asked the Museum Events Director for Dj recommendations and TSG weddings was at the top of her list. From the initial call with Sam Lurie we were impressed with his organization, his knowledge, and his overall friendly demeanor. He answered all of our questions and clearly explained all of the available services they offer. TSG also provided us with ceremony sound (including the officiant mic and ceremonial music), cocktail hour music, and uplighting for the reception space. The only bummer is that they switched from the classic photo booth to digital, but even so they…”

“I cannot thank Andy and the TSG Weddings team more for their part in the flawless execution of our wedding. TSG provided ceremony sound system, MC/Dj services for the reception, dancefloor lighting, up lights, and a photo station. Our off-site ceremony came with some logistical challenges, and TSG didn’t miss a beat. They brought generator to provide power, it was very quiet, and I doubt any of our guests even knew it was being used. They also provided a wireless clip on microphone for the officiant so all the guests could clearly hear the ceremony. Our reception, held at the Peabody Essex Museum, was where TSG outdid themselves. The photo station was laid out and…”

“Andy Sussman Dj'd our wedding for us at the Peabody Essex Museum back in November. He was absolutely incredible! My friends had such a blast and it was a great dance party! He mixed in a few slow songs for the older folks but still managed to keep everyone up and ready for the next fast. Our friends are in the 28-35 range and we had TONS of complements about the music selection and how every song that came on was one that they wanted to dance to. The online planning tool was easy and super helpful as well. Not many people usually mention this - but the sound quality was also great. Super clear/crisp…”
