Meet Brayden Taylor
Brayden started DJing weddings, proms, and corporate events in 2017. A Massachusetts native who studied Management Information Systems at UMass Lowell, he naturally approaches events with equal parts creativity and precision.
Music is where that creativity comes out. Brayden enjoys building custom edits, trying unexpected samples, and finding tracks that most wedding DJs would never think to play. He’s a particularly good fit for couples with niche musical tastes or a vision that falls outside the usual wedding playlist.
None of that means ignoring the room. Brayden still pays close attention to the guests in front of him. The interesting part is figuring out how to blend the couple’s ideas with what will work in that moment, then making it all sound like it belongs together.
Brayden is also the person behind TSG’s lighting systems. Inspired by the Novation Launchpad performances he watched growing up, he designed and programmed our custom ShowXPress setup. His Launchpad-based control system lets the lighting respond to the music through changes in color, movement, and intensity.
When he isn’t DJing or working on lighting, Brayden enjoys long road trips, electronics projects, digging up forgotten songs, and gaming on a custom-built PC. He collects late-2000s LEGO sets and is also a licensed patent holder.
For Brayden, the fun is in building something that works technically, feels musical, and gives each couple a wedding that couldn’t have been copied from someone else’s.
